The last thing a young mum when she left her baby daughter with her grandparents was they shave her head.

Grateful for their help with childcare, 22-year-old Tawana Musvaburi dropped daughter River off at their house as part of her 'normal' routine, but was horrified when she later received a of the little girl's head being shaved.

However, Tawana, from Buckinghamshire, is this as she went it as a child and said her hair 'grew back worse'. "I was so angry and annoyed as they didn't ask me," she said. "She had a cradle cap and my parents said it was for cultural reasons."

Tawana has since made up with her family, who said sorry for going behind her back. She added: "My mum apologised afterwards and I have since forgiven my family and it's a we can all laugh about now.
