印度电子和信息技术部9月2日发布公告，宣布禁用百度搜索等118款中国手机应用程序。

The Indian its Ministry of Electronics and announced a ban on 118 Chinese apps which it said were "engaged in activities prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, of the and public order". The affected apps engine Baidu, e-commerce Mobile Taobao, online videos provider Youku and other popular apps such as Sina News, WeChat reading and PUBG Mobile Lite.

印度政府通过印度电子和信息技术部宣布禁用118款“涉嫌参与危害印度主权与(领土)完整、印度国防、国家安全和公共秩序活动”的中国App，其中包括搜索引擎百度、电商服务平台手机淘宝、在线视频应用优酷，以及新浪新闻、微信阅读以及《绝地求生》手游等热门应用程序。

针对印度此举，中国商务部新闻发言人高峰9月3日回应，中方对此表示严重关切，坚决反对(deeply concerned about and firmly oppose India's ban)。

高峰说：

The Indian side has abused the concept of national security and taken discriminatory and restrictive measures Chinese enterprises, violating the relevant rules and regulations of the World Trade Organization.

印方滥用“国家安全”概念，对中国企业采取歧视性限制措施，违反世贸组织相关规则。

中方敦促印方纠正错误做法。中印经贸合作是互利共赢的。希望印方与中方共同维护好来之不易的合作发展局面，为包括中国企业在内的国际投资者和服务提供者营造开放、公平、公正的营商环境。
