China lodged a complaint under the World Trade (WTO) dispute settlement mechanism on Thursday Australia for the latter's anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures on Chinese exports of wheels, wind towers, and stainless steel sinks.
6月24日，中国就澳大利亚对自中国进口铁道轮毂、风塔、不锈钢水槽产品采取的反倾销和反补贴措施在世贸组织争端解决机制项下提出起诉。

世贸组织争端解决机制（World Trade Organization dispute settlement mechanism）指世贸组织在《争端解决谅解协议》（Dispute Settlement Understanding, DSU）框架下，运用司法管辖和外交磋商相结合的平衡体制，鼓励各方通过外交途径的友好磋商解决争议。DSU建立了争端解决机构（Dispute Settlement Body, DSB）来负责监督争端解决机制的有效顺利运行。

商务部新闻发言人高峰介绍，

Australia adopted or extended anti-dumping measures on railway wheels and wind towers imported from China in 2019, and extended anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures targeting stainless steel sinks imported from China in 2020.
澳方于2019年对自中国进口的铁道轮毂、风塔分别采取或延长反倾销措施，于2020年对自中国进口的不锈钢水槽延长反倾销和反补贴措施。

The WTO faces unprecedented challenges currently, and China opposes abusing trade remedy measures which not only the legitimate rights of Chinese enterprises but also undermine the authority of WTO rules.
当前，世贸组织面临前所未有的挑战。中方反对滥用贸易救济措施的行为，这不仅损害中国企业的合法权益，也损害世贸组织规则的严肃性与权威性。

China took the move in hope of safeguarding the legitimate rights of Chinese enterprises, as well as to the multilateral trading and the authority and effectiveness of the WTO.
中方希望通过将澳方有关反倾销反补贴措施诉诸世贸组织争端解决机制，既维护中国企业的合法权益，同时也是维护多边贸易体制和世贸组织的权威性有效性。

China hopes Australia will take concrete actions to wrong practices and distorting trade in relevant goods, so related trade will return to as soon as possible.
希望澳方采取切实行动，纠正错误做法，避免对相关产品贸易的扭曲行为，尽早使相关贸易回到正常轨道。
